Green Mountain Transit is facing a major fiscal crisis, forcing the agency to reduce services. As your State Senator, Nikhil will work with lawmakers to create a sustainable funding plan for public transit. Nikhil will also seek to expand car-sharing programs to reduce car dependence. 

Nikhil believes we need to expand our political imagination of what is possible. He fights to restore passenger rail service from Burlington to Montreal to drive economic development and tourism and will work with federal, state, and local partners on a plan of action.
